After that, we will drive into the hills for a last, magical look across the Straits.

After the visit to Messina, staying there for two hours, we will drive for about an hour and half to Cefalù along the Tyrrhenian Sea where you can see the amazing Aeolian Islands. As per our suggestion you will visit by walking the delightful fishing town of Cefalu with its medieval pebble-stone streets, the old public òlavatory, which is still functioning, and the outstanding monument in town, the Arab-Norman Cathedral which was the burial place of Roger II and his family. This monument shows a very exciting blend of different styles: Arabic, Byzantine, Romanesque and Baroque.
The frontage of the main church is bordered by two massive bell-towers and preceded by a porch from the 15th century. Inside, we respect the Christ Pantocrator made with the mosaic technique. Cefalu is also renowned for its attractive beaches where in the summer you could enjoy an energizing splash.

After visiting Cefalu, in the afternoon, we will take you back to Palermo to your hotel.
