Day 1: Palermo

Arrival at the airport, Transfer to the hotel. Welcome drink, Free dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 2: Palermo / Monreale

Martorana Church in Palermo. After breakfast, a holiday to the city of Palermo with the Cathedral and the Martorana Church, as well as a panoramic tour of the historic centre.
Departure for Monreale where you can visit the Cathedral and the Benedictine Cloister.
After lunch there is some time off or the prospect of an optional tour to the Catacombs, Mount Pellegrino (the sacred mountain of Palermo) and the village of Mondello.
Dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 3: Segesta / Erice / Selinunte

After a buffet breakfast, going away for Segesta.
Visit to the Doric Temple dating back to the V° century B.C.; then we visit Erice, a small and delightful medieval town located 750 mt above the sea level.
Break for lunch.
In the afternoon a visit to Selinunte, an ancient Greek colony, and a tour of the archaeological area.
Overnight in Selinunte or Agrigento.

Day 4: Agrigento / Piazza Armerina

After breakfast a visit to the "Valley of the Temples" including the Temples of Juno, Concordia, Heracles, Zeus and Castor and Pollux.
After this we drive to Piazza Armerina.
Break for lunch.
After lunch, a visit to the Roman villa del Casale, famed for its well preserved mosaics dating back to the III°-IV° century A.D. Continue to Catania for Overnight stay.

Day 5: Siracusa / Catania

After breakfast a visit to Siracusa, the wealthiest of the ancient Greek towns.
Visit the archaeological area including the famous "latomie" (quarries) of Paradise and the "Ear of Dyonisos", the Greek Theatre and the Roman Amphitheatre. We continue by visiting Ortigia Island with its famous Cathedral and the Aretusa Fountain.
After a break for lunch, departure for Catania; panoramic tour of the city.
Leisure time. Overnight stay.

Day 6: Etna / Taormina

Greek Theatre of Taormina. After breakfast, if weather conditions permit, an excursion to Mount Etna, the highest and most active volcano of Europe (1800 mt).
Continuing to Taormina. A visit to the Greek Theatre, and leisure time for shopping.
Return to Catania for Overnight stay.

Day 7: Messina / Cefalù

After breakfast, departure for Messina, the city of the Straits, only three kilometers away from the Calabrian coast.
We continue to Cefalù where we visit the old town with its imposing Cathedral.
Leisure time. Overnight stay in Palermo.

Day 8: Palermo

After breakfast, transfer to the airport.
